Let us start this article with the observation that Timbaland is a big, fat, stupid idiot who is totally useless. On top of this he is THE most arrogant person I have ever come across. His 'show' consisted entirely of him (having arrived incredibly late) having a godawful karaoke-like attempt at singing and rapping over moronic DJ noise, and telling us all how much better 'King Timbo' is than anybody else...

Having dragged Bad along to go and see Brad Mehldau and Pat Metheny's show, I was a little disappointed with Brad Mehldau's performance. The soundmen at the Barbican are a complete joke, thus it didn't help things that his piano was quiet and thin-sounding. However, he, whilst still very good, was also simply not up to his usual, incredible form. Pat Metheny on the other hand played very well and was definitely on form. Jeff Ballard and Larry Grenadier were fantastic as always.
